A thought about Independent votersViews: 1910
Jan 31, 2008 3:48 amA thought about Independent voters#

Danielle (Dani) Cutler
This was a short statement from one of the editorial staff at the AZ republic. We unfortunately have closed elections, and it's the only reason I remain a registered Democrat, so I can vote in the primary. Which also means that I only have the choice of Democrat candidates.

Too bad- cause that Romney has GREAT hair! ;-)
Anyway, the system needs an upgrade. Badly.

Independent voters: A force that should be recognized

Jan. 30, 2008 12:00 AM
Did you notice more than 11,000 independent voters in Arizona have re-registered in the run-up to the Arizona presidential primary on Feb. 5? That should be Exhibit A in the debate over whether independents should vote in primaries because 11,000 voters in an Arizona election are not insignificant. And don't tell me, with John McCain, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in the race, they just want to make mischief. No, they just want to take part in nominating the next president.
